Dental Bridges

Dental Bridges are used to replace missing teeth.  There are two basic types of bridge available a full coverage bridge or an adhesive bridge.  A full coverage bridge consists of 3 or more crowns linked together the middle (missing) tooth is supported by the crowns at each end of the bridge.  There are many other combinations of this type of bridge depending on the situation in your mouth and your dentist will be happy to discuss with you your individual requirements.

Adhesive bridges are a false porcelain tooth bonded very strongly to an adjacent tooth via a wing which is usually made of metal but can be ceramic (white).  The main advantage of the adhesive bridge is that very little presentation of the adjacent tooth is required.
