Veneers
A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain which is permanently bonded to the surface of a tooth. Veneers can be used in the following circumstances;
- Stained and discoloured teeth
- Closing gaps between widely spaced teeth
- Chipped or broken teeth
- Crooked or misaligned teeth
Veneers require some preparation of the teeth involved and in some cases there could be a significant amount of natural tooth removed. All this would be discussed between the dentist and patient before any treatment is agreed.
